Hi, I’m Brittney!
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where I was fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Krystal Vaughn, whose guidance helped shape my approach to compassionate, evidence-based care.
With more than five years of experience working with children, teens, and their families, I have had the privilege of helping clients navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges in both outpatient clinic and school-based settings. These experiences have allowed me to support youth across a variety of environments and strengthened my passion for partnering with families to help children reach their fullest potential.
I provide play-based therapy, talk therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based techniques to help children and teens build confidence, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthy coping skills. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each family’s unique needs. I believe that meaningful progress happens when therapy extends beyond the therapy room, which is why I work closely with parents and caregivers to equip them with practical tools and strategies they can use at home.
My goal is to create a welcoming space where children and teens feel safe to be themselves, parents feel empowered, and families feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. Watching children and teens discover their strengths and helping families reconnect and thrive is one of the greatest joys of my work.
When I’m not in the playroom, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, or finding new ways to bring creativity and fun into everyday life.
I can’t wait to partner with your family on this journey!
