Hi, I'm Sophie! I'm a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) who works with children and their families. I love helping kids make sense of big feelings, build confidence, and learn new ways to handle challenges.

I work with children from preschool through middle school and often see kids struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, behavior concerns, ADHD, social skills, and life changes. My approach is play-based and child-centered because I know kids do their best communicating when they feel comfortable and connected.

One of my favorite parts of this work is getting to know each child for who they are. Every child has different strengths, challenges, and interests, so I don't believe therapy should look the same for everyone. I enjoy finding creative ways to help children learn, grow, and feel successful.

I also value working closely with parents. You know your child better than anyone, and I believe therapy works best when we're working together. My goal is for families to leave sessions feeling supported and with practical tools they can use outside of the therapy room.

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from LSU Health Sciences Center and have experience working with children in both school and private practice settings. I'm grateful to do this work and look forward to meeting your family.
